In its original meaning, partnership referred to the relationship between those who steered the ship and those who sponsored the journey. As a partner with FEEDING KIDS RIGHT, you sponsor feeding kids who would not otherwise have a hot meal during the summer, and you are investing in the next generation and future of Athens, Texas.
All funds donated to Feeding Kings Right Inc, are used to buy the food, supplies and other necessities which are necessary to run the feeding program. Our goal for 2022 is to set up programs which include mentoring, cooking camps, planting a garden, purchase and install playground equipment, tables and chairs, and create a supply bank filled with hygiene products. We also want to start a reading club during the summer months which rewards kids for reading.
Feeding Kids Right, Inc. is a strong tower for the rural community of Athens, Texas. When you support Feeding Kids Right, Inc. you partner with us to make a difference in the lives of our kids. It takes approximately $600 per day for our feeding program to continue through the summer months. In 2021 we provided over 30,000 meals during the summer. We recently completed our 2021 Christmas Extravaganza in which we fed 200 and provided Christmas presents for 200 children. .
